Editorial transparency
When we get it wrong, we say so.
Every article on this blog is reviewed and approved by a named human editor before publication — but mistakes still happen. Here is exactly how we handle them.
How we correct
- In place. We fix the article itself rather than leaving the error live, and add a dated note describing what changed and why.
- Serious errors get a follow-up. If a mistake materially changed the meaning of a piece — a wrong fact, a misattributed quote, a broken claim — we publish a separate follow-up note in addition to the in-place fix.
- Nothing is quietly deleted. We don't unpublish articles to make errors disappear; we correct them on the record.
